The implementation of several major projects, imposed reshuffles at the top posts in the hospital. This became clear during the briefing given by the new CEO Dr. Georgi Matev, the head of RHI - George Pazderov and the vice health mayor of Bourgas municipality Dr Loris Manuelyan.
The top priority for the hospital Bourgas is the building of Trauma Center, which includes advanced an anti-shock room with a separate portal for children. The Trauma center will be operational by the end of 2015 and will be located on the back of the surgical unit.
There will be created 5 new number of divisions and among them will be closed years ago Department of burns.
"We will reveal the Department of thermal injury and Plastic Surgery, Division of Thoracic Surgery, Department of Maxillofacial Surgery and Department of hyperbaric oxygenation. The fifth ward will be skin – the current Dispensary for skin and venereal diseases, which will change its status and will go to the hospital Bourgas", added Dr. Matev.
