The construction of a residential building in the yard of Lyuben Karavelov Primary School Burgas was stopped and an ordinance of the Municipality reads the excavation in the schoolyard must be immediately reinforced and the supporting wall, existing stairs and alley must be restored as well as the disassembled fence. It is handed to the company and the securing of the site has to start today.
The mayor of Burgas, Dimitar Nikolov, says that thanks to the parents who signalled about the problem, the municipality managed to stop this absurd situation that would have been an obstacle for the educational process. The district architect who issued the building permit will be subject to disciplinary punishment.
