More than 123 million Lev foreign investment (European and from government) has attracted Pomorie Municipality,
to improve infrastructure, social services, education, health, tourism, culture and administrative capacity, said the press office of the municipality.
Eleven projects have been implemented and they are worth nearly 10.5 million Lev. In the process of implementation are thirteen projects, which amounted to some 113 million Lev. All EU-funded projects are implemented in the period 2012 - 2015 г.
Of all the 24 projects, only five are planned during the previous government of Pomorie Municipality.
"The projects that we found with my team when I took office are very good, but only as ideas. Unfortunately, I do not know whether intentionally or just incompetence, then there was a vicious practice for the preparation of project proposals and documentation for application to hire outside companies, the performance of which has not exercised any control. Of all approved five projects had not begun implementation to none. All were flowing time and if we were not able to prolong them we would suffer serious sanctions. "- Said the mayor of Pomorie Ivan Alexiev.
