Festival days of Sozopol launched the fourth edition of the Regatta "St. Marina Sozopol" on July 11th, Friday. Three days long athletes from 12 Bulgarian club teams and teams from Alexandroupolis and Kavala, Greece, will compete in classes HELMS and LASER 4.7 at the bay of Sozopol.
The festive program of Sozopol municipality includes several sports events. Swimmers from across the country will participate in the traditional marathon swimming, which started from 8.30 pm on July 17th, Thursday at the port. Currently enrolled about 80 number of swimmers. The start of the marathon swimming is at the port, and the final will be on the central beach, where the mayor of the town Panaiot Rayzi and the chairman of the municipal council Krasimira Germanova will reward the best players. The visitors of the town can watch the race from the ship "Big Grandma" which will tour the bay.
