Bourgas Municipality will apply for the purchase of two electric cars.
This was announced by the Mayor of Bourgas Dimitar Nikolov during the briefing with the Minister of Environment and Water Ivelina Vasileva. The money will be allocated to the new program of the National Trust Eco Fund.
Foreseen in the 2016 budget is 1 million Lev.
Mayor Dimitar Nikolov said he welcomed the idea and Bourgas municipality will apply for the allocation of funds. They are currently preparing the procedure for the purchase of two electric cars that will be used by both eco inspectors in the local administration.
The city has two charging stations for environmental machinery. They are located in the parking lot on the street "Gen.Gurko" and on the underground parking of the Opera. They are currently preparing procedures for the placement of another three charging stations.
