The last innovative project of the Municipality of Burgas in Bulgaria, goes by the name “External information offices, powered by solar energy”,
also known as “Solar Trees”. The idea is pilot as for the city of Burgas, so to the state of Bulgaria, due to the complicated and fluid form of the installation, which has the possibility of charging mobile devices, wheelchairs for the disabled, and also offers comfortable seating, mobile working spaces and effective decorative lighting trough out the dark half of the day. All those functions are united in an uniform futuristic volume, without any analogue in the area of design of such structures, provided by MArch.Emil Burulyanov.
The execution of the solar installation idea by the Burgas Municipality, is entrusted to TechnoSun Ltd., as Eng.Miroslav Dimitrov is loaded with the electrical ties, solar panels, power and overall performance of this unique project. Construction, joints and assembly are taken care of by Alexander Pavlov and MArch.Ivan Palazov from Ampera Ltd. – specialized in the area of robotic manufacturing of complex models.
“Solar Trees” function by converting solar energy from the photovoltaic panels during the day, as part of it is used to directly charge the connected devices, and the rest is stored in the accumulator block. By this means, the opportunity of simultaneously charging up to 2 wheelchairs and 12 mobile devices through USB ports, is provided. The places of the external information offices are target selected by the perspective user groups.
Installations are constructed under the project "FIESTA - Intelligent solutions for saving energy at home," funded by the "Intelligent Energy - Europe" - http://www.fiesta-audit.eu/bg/
