BGN 1.3 million are provided by the Interdepartmental Commission for Disasters and Emergencies for a reconstruction of the western gully in "Dolno Ezerovo" District. The procedure for selecting a contractor is currently under way. The repair is scheduled to begin in the middle of the summer.
Municipality of Bourgas has built a water monitoring system at two of the critical points in the neighborhood, thus monitoring the level of water as a preventive measure.
In 2015 nearly 70 houses were flooded in the neighborhood due to torrential rains. The reason was the flood of water from the gully that flows into Lake Vaya.
