Demonstrations of ikebana gathered enthusiasts during the Flora Flower Exhibition - Bourgas 2017.
Three ladies from the “Soga” school showed the basic principles of this ancient Japanese art for flower arrangements.
There are three basic elements in each composition, explained Maria Kemenchedjieva, president of "Soga". These are shin /sky/ soy /man/ and hickey /land/.
The length of the shin is obtained from the sum of the diameter and height of the vessel in which the ikebana is arranged, multiplied by 1.5. Shin tilts 15 ° from the vertical - forward and left.
The soy has a length of ¾ of a shin, tilts forward and left at 45 °.
The length of the hickey is ¾ of soy, tilting forward and right to 75 °.
