The MOEW will stop Kronospan on June 30th if the woodworking company does not implement its eco-program until then.
This was announced by Minister of Environment and Water Neno Dimov at a press conference in Bourgas.
By the end of June, the company must build its green belt around the plant, cover its conveyor belts, design a sheltered timber storage area, and make a schedule for a street wash around the plant.
"We will not make any compromises if they do not respect the environmental program", the minister menaced.
