The "Nadezhda" Bourgas State Park in Meden rudnik complex developed a wonderful initiative to stimulate walking.
It is called the "Green Foot" and will be launched at the beginning of next week. The idea of the director Mariela Nenkova and her team is to give a fun trip to Kotel to all their aged 6-7 years old who join in the game with a competition element and meet the prescribed norm for a certain time.
For this purpose, those who want to participate will get the big green leg, containing little white steps. When pedagogues meet the children at the entrance to the garden, each of them on foot or on a bicycle will be given the right to fill in a white pencil with a pencil or pen. If, within one month, the child succeeds in coloring 15 of them, it automatically enters the group for the trip to Kotel.
The purpose of this optional initiative is to provide a fun and encouraging way to educate young people about the culture of movement, now called an alternative, and it is actually as old and as old as humanity because motor vehicles have been in existence for only a hundred years. But "Green Foot" can also save harmful gases in the atmosphere and unload the automobile clutter, which is formed every morning before the "Nadezhda" DG.
We have yet to find out whether this initiative will not have the effect of re-educating adults. Because what would you say if they look into your eyes and say, Mum, dad, I want you to take me on foot tomorrow to paint another white step!
