19 municipalities will be eligible under the Operational Program "Environment 2014-2020" for the design and construction of anaerobic plants for separately collected biodegradable waste. The new procedure has a budget of 91.5 million Lev.
Municipalities, which can apply for funds are from three regional associations for waste management: RSUO Rousse, which includes the municipalities of Rousse, Vetovo, Ivanovo, Slivo pole and Tutrakan, RSUO Bourgas - the municipalities of Bourgas, Aetos, Kameno, Karnobat, Nessebar, Pomorie, Rouen, Sredets and Sungurlare and RSUO Blagoevgrad with members - the municipalities of Blagoevgrad, Simitli, Boboshevo, Kocherinovo and Rila.
