More than 100 abandoned houses in Bulgarian villages have found their owners within the Facebook initiative "Rent without rent". The initiative is on the puppet actress Irena Nencheva from Bourgas, the goal being to overcome the depopulation of the villages in Bulgaria.
The idea is empty houses in the villages, abandoned under different circumstances, to be temporary residents of the town who want to village. Property owners and tenants make a contract for a certain period of time. The new owners live without paying rent, but take care of the house and the yard.
