Although Olympic glory and investment over 50 billion dollars, Sochi could lose the race on the market of seaside holiday homes for foreign destinations such as Bulgaria, writes the Russian online edition Moscow Times.
The main reason is the price - in Sochi levels start from 60 thousand rubles (1700 dollars) per square meter. At the same time the Bulgarian Black Sea coast prices start from half that amount.
The flight from Moscow to the airport in Bulgaria takes 2 and a half hours, only 30 minutes longer than the trip from Moscow to Sochi.
