For a period of 3 years Asarel Investment will research 17sq.km of terrain in the Municipality of Sozopol for metallic minerals.
The areas in question are around the villages of Zidarovo, Prisad and Izvor.
The geological research will be for the expense of the company, while the extraction and use of the underground resources will be regulated by a contract signed by the Ministry of Economics and Energy.
The expected gold reserves in the ore-rich fields of Govezhda, Zlata, Etropolsko, Bakadzhiisko, Zidarovsko, Spahievsko, Madzharovsko, Popsko and Zvezdel-Pcheloyadsko are 50-51 tonnes.
