In Bourgas hospital is now possible extended stay after a stroke, heart attack and heavy operations.
The hospital signed a contract with the NHIF on new pathways for long-term treatment - №254, 255 and 256. The paths are 10 days and enable patients who can not serve themselves, to receive treatment and rehabilitation without pay for thereof.
New pathways will be implemented by the departments of neurology, cardiology and surgical wards. "Practically it is going well - when we accept ill with stroke and complete clinical pathway for stroke shape documentation for another path - for an extended stay," said the chief of the neurological ward Dr. Veselin Rusinov.
