The 138-year history of the largest hospital in the whole of Southeastern Bulgaria was more than exciting for the curious students of the "Good Citizen" Club of the English Language School.
What impressed them most was their visit to the Transfusion Hematology Department (the blood center) while running a blood donation. In the world, every 2 seconds, someone needs a blood spill, and every fourth person in his life will ever need it.
Most of the pupils' smiles were causing the youngest babies in the Department of Neonatology.
