In Bourgas opened "Integrated Cancer Centre". The hospital was built with funds from the municipality of Bourgas and "Integrated Cancer Centre - Bourgas" LTD. It will apply the latest methods for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients.
The health institution formed around the complex, which includes the existing building of COC, the linear accelerator bunker and the Polyclinic.
So far registered cancer patients in the area are 16 000, now they will be able to be treated in the city and will not have to travel to Sofia.
