58 people from Bourgas region suffering from rare diseases. Among them, the largest number of patients with haemophilia - a disease associated with bleeding, thalassemia - type of tough anemia and cystic fibrosis, which affects the lungs and abdominal organs.
Data were announced during the first seminar on rare diseases in the city, which was held in Hospital Bourgas. It was attended by lecturers from all over the country, GPs and patients with rare diseases.
