Along with increasing opportunities to practice cycling in Bourgas,
it is growing a number of both - individual and organized cyclists. This figure already falls the University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov " with over 5000 students. The University joined the initiative of the Municipality Bourgas for the implementation of alternative and environmentally friendly modes of transport as a factor for the creation of a new urban mobility culture.
On 06.11.2015, in the University was established bicycle company of teachers and students. Head is selected Assoc. Prof. Doncho Keremidchiev and Assistant Secretary Nina Bogdanova. The first event of the newly formed company was a cycling tour route: Bourgas - Sarafovo - Bourgas.
