It works completely on ecological principles – you are placing an empty plastic bottle in specially designed for this one hole and in return you receive a portion of granules.
Food is universal and can be used by both - dog and cat. In another compartment it will run fresh water to be able the tired of walking animals to drink from it, rather than from the puddles as before.
