A man from Rhodope made barrel - buffet for Lebanese millionaire

Vat maker buy /oncle/ Mincho from Smolyan’s village Mogilitsa crafted the original barrel - buffet for a rich man from Lebanon.

 

The order made by a man from the neighboring village Smilian who is a kinsman-in-low of Lebanese. The man from Rhodope chosen the original gift because the Lebanese was a great lover of wine.

In the barrel the manufacturer made bottle racks. By close, it looks like an ordinary barrel. The original buffet is 90 cm high and 55 cm wide in diameter.

The name of the Rhodope craftsman became famous when in 2011 he carved a portrait of Dilma Rousseff on walnut. He made also a special wooden vessel for the first woman president of Brazil.
