Greece, Spain and Israel are in the race for the Russian tourist market.
At the end of 2015 Russian tourists lost two of the most their popular destinations - Turkey and Egypt. After downloading the bombers Su24 by the Turkish Air Force President Vladimir Putin banned charter flights between Russia and Turkey, and tour operators stopped offering holidays in Turkish resorts.
Now the Russian tourist market is the subject of active campaigns to attract tourists. Russian edition RBC makes a review of the most interesting proposals.
One of them was made by Greece. Tour operators in our southern neighbor promise safely meet the Christmas and New Year.
Besides Greece, significant efforts to attract Russians is making from Spain, too.
Israel is also making efforts for a share of the Russian tourist market.
And Latvia is not left behind in efforts - Riga Mayor Nil Ushakov, made irresistible invitation to "Dear Russians" in their profile in Facebook.
