Parliament compel hoteliers to keep records of accommodated tourists. This was through adopted without debate at the second reading amendments to the Law on Tourism.
Envisaged fines – one hotelier who does not keep a register will be penalized with 2000 Lev and for the sole proprietors and legal entities - 7,000 Lev.
With the changes the mayors are obliged to keep and maintain an electronic register of all tourist sites with temporary certificates and categorized objects.
