Representatives of Turkey and Bulgaria have signed a protocol on a project aimed at promoting tourism in the cross-border region between the Turkish city of Kirklareli (Lozengrad) and the Bulgarian Bourgas, the Turkish news site Dyuniya Bultteni reported.
It is planned to create a website to present the tourism opportunities offered by Turkey and Bulgaria.
The cross-border tourist route covered 14 villages in the Kirklareli region and nine in the Bourgas region. It is planned this project to provide opportunities for local residents who will be able to sell traditional food for the visitors of the area.
