11 beaches and one marina in Bulgaria were awarded by the "Blue Flag".
This year the symbols of the program can enjoy the beaches of the Djuni, Sozopol-Harman Bourgas-north,east of Pomorie, Sunny Beach-south, north-Sunny Beach, Sunny Day, Albena, as well as three beach in Sveti Vlas (Central, New and East) and Marina Dinevi.
To obtain eco-certificate the beaches and the ports must meet 30 criteria divided into four categories related to securing, communication, maintenance of the beach and water quality. Last year the sites in Bulgaria with the "Blue Flag" was also 11.
