The mayor of the town Panayot Reyzi received a special award on behalf of the City of Moscow and Charity Fund for social initiatives "Nationality Unity" - Russian for his contribution in the field of spiritual convergence of Bulgarian and Russian people.
This was at a ceremony in the Russian Cultural and Information Centre in Sofia, where the prize was awarded by Pavel Zhuravlev- Head of the ROSSOTRUDNICHESTVO in Bulgaria and a director of the Russian Cultural and Information Centre in Sofia.
During the ceremony it was stressed that the mayor Panayot Reyzi is for a consistent policy of cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Bulgaria in the field of science, culture, sports, tourism and spiritual rapprochement of our peoples.
