Interview with Katya Stoyanova, Deputy Mayor of Sozopol
- Mrs Stoyanova the budget of Sozopol Municipality has already been adopted. What tools are provided for social activities?
- The total budget for 2015 is 34 million Lev. Of these there are one-off benefits for children 239 thousand Lev, 81 thousand Lev for pensioners' clubs, for supporting all sports clubs - 655 thousand Lev, 642 thousand Lev are the money for domestic social help.
All 12 settlements are covered, 550 people were packaged with all amounts.
The amount of social activities budget is about 1.8 million Lev.
- We saw children from the Center for family-type accommodation in Atia. What about its funding?
- With the adoption of the state budget, we had not received the guarantee amount for state delegation, but these days we received a guarantee that 126 thousand Lev are provided.
This amount is not enough and we will need additional financing to at least 50 thousand Lev.
- What social services for children and young people are available in the municipality?
- The municipality gives 2000 Lev for newborn. Kindergartens are free. We have a milk kitchen with 150 seats.
We have wonderful swimming pool - up to 14 years, all children of Sozopol municipality can swim free.
