Solemnly in the presence of hundreds of residents and guests of the town was greeted in the church "St. St. Cyril and Methodius " the miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary.
The icon was transported from Ahtopol and accompanied by the mayor of the town Panaiot Reyzi and the director of the NHM Bozhidar Dimitrov.
"Miraculous Icon will remain with us for a month, so that everyone who wants and needs contact with the sacred icon to visit the temple, said Father Ivan. He recalled that the journey of the icon associated with charity.
"Sozopol is blessed to host a miraculous icon", said Mayor Panaiot Reyzi who expressed confidence that Mary will protect the town and its residents not only during the stay of the icon in Sozopol, but also afterwards.
