Interview with Dimitar Germanov, Mayor of Primorsko
- Mr Germanov, what is the new budget of the municipality of Primorsko, and will it be sufficient for planned activities?
- Yes, the budget is well balanced. The budget is a concern for all areas, ensuring the successful development of the municipality. The municipality will continue to supplement finances the activities of sports clubs, community centers. Schools and kindergartens have our full financial support to conduct normal learning process.
In 2016 Primorsko will have a budget of 25,961,769 Lev. As revenues from domestic activities are expected to 15,438,444 Lev and from delegated state activities sum will amount to 2,518,702 Lev. This year, estimates are included and European Union funds, and funds from other international programs and contracts . They amount to 8,004,623 Lev.
- What will be your priorities in 2016?
- In 2016 we will invest in improving infrastructure, promotion of Primorsko municipality through the participation of various international tourism fairs, billboards, festivals. Sport, culture, health and EU projects are also part of the priorities of the maritime community.
- What does the capital program of the municipality for the next year?
- We have set a landmark performance for the municipality objects, such as repair of bridges, rehabilitation of school in New Panicharevo and administrative buildings, upgrading the area around the port, construction of sports grounds and other infrastructure projects.
