Modern waste transfer station was opened in Nesebar.
It is a part of the project "Establishment of a regional system for waste in the region of Bourgas", which serves nine municipalities in the region.
The project beneficiary is the Municipality of Bourgas in partnership with the municipalities Sredets, Kameno, Nesebar, Pomorie, Aitos, Ruen, Karnobat and Sungurlare Municipality.
There are two vehicles that carry 25 tons and they can make two trips to Bratovo during the summer, explained the Mayor of Nesebar Nikolay Dimitrov.
Transfer Station will serve Nesebar, which ejected about 65 thousand tons of garbage in the year and from Pomorie - about 25 thousand tons. In the following year there provided for separate waste collection extension.
