Only in a Bourgas region are 46 number of unguarded beaches and it’s making the municipality an area with the most number of beaches without lifeguards for this season. In Bourgas area is the longest sandy beach which stretches over 100 km.
Most unguarded beaches are in Tsarevo municipality – total 16, in Bourgas municipality they are 11, in Sozopol and Nessebar are 6 and eight - in Pomorie.
Among the largest and most famous beaches that remain without householder are Obzor - children's camps, Iraqli, Aheloi, camping Europe, the beaches in Sarafovo and Kraimorie, Atanasovska kosa, Otmanli, Paradise Bay, Popish beach in Tsarevo.
