Sungurlare Municipality has given a land to build an Orthodox monastery in the village of Sadovo - Kotel Mountain.
The architectural design is ready. The area of the temple will be around 1000 square meters. It will save relics of the 26 Bulgarian painter martyrs who in the 12th century were burned on Mount Athos.
For the construction of the monastery in Sadovo the municipality has provided 1 million Lev that are included in the program by 2020.
With a built of one monastery was founded a new spiritual center and create a new tourist destination, says the program.
