"Investments in education and supporting the educational initiatives are life-saving for Bulgaria", said the President Rossen Plevneliev, who opened the school year in the Software University, Sofia.
The educational institution was founded by Svetlin Nakov and Hristo Tenchev and its aims are to teach practical skills of young programmers.
The quality education, which provides not only knowledge but also skills of young people is the foundation of solving the problems of high unemployment, low incomes and demographic problem in Bulgaria, Plevneliev added.
Plevneliev has pledged hes support to the students to place their ideas on the agenda of the institutions.
It is expected that by 2015 only in the IT sector in Bulgaria will be employed about 40,000 people.
