Citing Ilian Tsonev, advisor of Bulgaria’s embassy in Russia, the website of Sverdlovsk Oblast’s Ministry of International and Foreign Economic Connections posted an announcement that Bulgaria plans to restore its consulate in Yekaterinburg this year.
Ilian Tsonev comments “We plan to restart the work of our consulate in Yekaterinburg. This concerns business most of all. We count on strengthening humanitarian bonds and the tourism exchange with your region”.
2014 marks a 135-year anniversary from the start of Russian-Bulgarian diplomatic relations.
