The free renovation of apartment buildings by the National Energy Efficiency Programme is already delivering results. Households in renovated buildings pay significantly lower bills for electricity, heating and hot water.
Between 30 percent and 40 percent lower electricity bills in the coldest days are living in block 114 in "Meden Rudnik". From block 14 in "Revival" /Vazrazdane/ accounted for between 45 and 50% less energy costs. Savings made are good, with the proviso that this year the average temperature is 7 degrees lower than in the previous two years.
Units with heating have decreased by 50 percent in heating bills.
