The project to restore the “Old Frigate” in the Burgas Sea Garden’s will be heard by an Expert Committee on Territory Planning.
A public discussion was held on whether the city’s master plan should be changed, as it includes the property surrounding the burned ship. It’s going to be included in the Super Burgas project.
The property falls entirely within Zone A of the Black Sea Coast Spatial Planning Act and the investment will have to fulfill some requirements – maximum building density of 20%, maximum height of 7.5 meters and at least 70% greenery.
The owner of “Grandhotel Primorets” in Burgas, Dimitar Karanenov, will be restoring the popular ship-restaurant “Old Frigate”
The company acquired the famous diner, as well as “Primorets” hotel after the privatization of the municipal company “Primorets tourist”, which governs tourist sites.
