22-year-old Galia Georgieva, who fell into a coma after severe poisoning with mushrooms,
lives a second life thanks to doctors in Resuscitation of the Hospital Bourgas.
The case of the girl is unprecedented because until now a patient with similar indicators has been not able to survive.
Galia admitted to the hospital on October 25th. Two days earlier she and her father /working as guards/ are harvested mushrooms around Primorsko.
"The girl was in extremely poor condition - in a coma, and her liver enzymes were 100 times above the norm. The fight was great. She passed several courses of hemodialysis, but remained in the same state. Later regained consciousness but continued to be on ventilatory support because she could not breathe alone", said Dr. Yordan Tomov.
