The present strain of influenza most attack lung

Flu "hits" in principle weakest part of men. But overall the current strain is attacking most the lung, explains Prof. Todor Kantardzhiev, director of the National Center of Infectious and Parasitic Diseases and a national consultant.

Severe condition may occur due to lightning development of hemorrhagic pneumonia (hemorrhagic) 1-2 days after the first symptoms of influenza, or 10 days for bacterial pneumonia when one is underestimated at the beginning of the flu and was not treated adequately.

The virus is aggressive to the lung, the immune system is weakened and it’s leading to the development of a bacterial infection. Died this year from complications are people over 25, but no exact statistics.
