How pharmaceutical giants brainwash us

Most of us realize the butterflies, sunsets and puppies in TV ads are meant to draw our attention away from scary terms like “blood clot”, “heart attack”, “infarction”, “loss of consciousness”, “life-threatening allergic reaction” and death”.

We understand that more than half of the ads and advertising messages actually tell us why we DON’T want to ask our doctor about the new miracle cure.

The unbranded, hidden commercial however is much more subtle and dangerous. Instead of selling medicine, it sells the illness, which in turn boosts pharmaceutical sales.
