Bourgas hospital is included in an international program to help victims of sexual assault.
The program is implemented in Bulgaria at the initiative of the Ambassador of the United Kingdom, Her Excellency Mrs. Emma Hopkins. In Bourgas in cooperation with the Municipality, police and "Demetra" Association will be built Center for victims of sexual abuse and the role of Bourgas hospital will be to provide medical advice, examination by a judicial medical and emergency contraception, a provision for accommodation severely affected women, as well as psychological counseling.
Bourgas hospital already started practical work on it. Certain are two rooms in the ward for further treatment where they will be able to be accommodated severely injured women.
