“Levski” is among the three most searched words in the Europeana virtual cultural heritage database during the last year.
After the results were compiled it became clear the most searched for term is “plastic surgery”.
The name of the Bulgarian national hero “Levski” comes up second, followed by the word “woodcuts”. Japan, for which there is relevant cultural information in Europeana, and the French writer Victor Hugo complete the top 5.
