Nearly 7 million tourists visited Bulgaria in the last year.
Deputy Minister of Economy Branimir Botev announced that in 2013 our country reached a record of sorts, by registering over 3 billion euro of revenue from tourism for the first time.
According to him we expect another 8.2% increase in natives and foreigners visiting the winter resorts.
In 2014 the ministry of economy aims to reach 3% increase in rented beds. It also expects a 2% growth in revenue and a 4% increase in visits from foreign tourists. The actual numbers will surpass the old prognosis.
