Deputy Minister of Education Vanya Kastreva opened the ninth edition of the International Competition “Joy on the beach”,
which starts on the stage of the amphitheater "Apolonia" in Sozopol.
In the opening speech, she stressed the importance of the town to promote the rich history and archeology of the country and further stated: "Sozopol is a place where every cultural event is located at home, so this beautiful and loaded with lots of children's talent and emotions Festival is on the best place. Sozopol has become the cultural capital of Bulgaria, and the festival "Joy on the beach" launches one summer with a rich culture and art in Sozopol".
Guests of the festival were the deputy governor Victor Krumov, chairman of the municipal council in Sozopol Krasimira Germanova, Deputy Mayor Katya Stoyanova and representatives from the Regional Inspectorate of Education Bourgas.
The festival continues with the competition program, where competed nearly 1052 Bulgarian participants from almost all regions of Bulgaria.
