Karnobat Municipality has prepared is 2014 budget and will start off the year with an extra 1 million leva. That is the excess from last year’s budget, which administration will use to take care of the area’s most urgent needs.
The municipality was 2013’s best financial performer with zero unpaid expenses and nearly 1.7 million leva excess revenue. Half of the cost of the new municipal building has been covered and Mayor Georgi Dimitrov is optimistic that the other half will be paid off this year.
The building is beautiful and modern. Until now municipality administration was spread between several buildings, causing difficulties for citizens.
The mayor commented “Now everything is one place, guaranteeing better service for the people”.
