Turkey is building its first eco-city

It will be located 50 km. from the border with Syria, near the city of Gaziantep. The first eco- city will be spread over an area of 3200 hectares, and there will live and work 200 000 people.

By its construction will be used all the currently known environmental methods: the roofs will have gardens, the water will relies heavily on rain, garbage collection will be done separately.

The strong winds blowing in the area will be used for the production of electricity by building a windmill.

Initially, the authorities plan to overbuild 55 hectares of the city, the construction will start this year.
