Bulgarian Agency for Food Safety - Bourgas began raids in restaurants and establishments
for compliance with Regulation 1169 of EU food labeling and delivery of prominent allergens.
Fines range from 1,000 to 2,000 Lev in the first and up to 4,000 Lev reoffend.
Besides the obligatory menu allergens, experts recommend even to require additional information from manufacturers and suppliers of foods.
