Водещи интернет компании разкриха нова информация относно тайните разследвания на американското правителство. Гугъл, Фейсбук, Майкрософт, Яху, Линкдин и Тъмблър публикуваха данни, които показват колко често правителството им е нареждало да предоставят информация за техни потребители. Това пише ИТАР-ТАСС. 

От правителството са изпращали тайни съдебни заповеди, с които да получат данни за електронната комуникация и други онлайн дейности на потребители. 

Социалната мрежа Facebook е трябвало да предостави информация за около 5000 потребители за период от шест месеца през 2012-а и 2013 г. Google са разкрили данни на близо 10 000, докато Microsoft на 15 000. Най-много информация е разкрила Yahoo - за над 40 000.
