На 16 август в 10.13 ч. на автомагистрала «Тракия», км. 344 в Бургас, л.а. «Фолксваген Голф», управляван от 20-годишна жена
от пазарджишкото село Синитово, при навлизане на паркинга на бензиностанция «Автотрейд» с несъобразена с конкретните условия скорост, излиза извън пътното платно, блъска се в бетонни блокчета и продължавайки движението си напред, се удря в изкуствено изграден остров, като спира в него.
От инцидента са нанесени материални щети по автомобила, както и по седем бетонни блокчета - бордюри, храст и три борчета, посадени в района на бензиностанцията.
Водачката е тествана за употреба на алкохол, като дрегера дал отрицателен отчет.
От инцидента пострадала 18-годишната й спътничка, която с контузия на главата и корема, е откарана в УМБАЛ – Бургас, прегледана и освободена, тъй като отказала болнично лечение.
